Owen McGovern, the owner of Bio-One Eugene was born and raised in New York.  Owen and his wife Erika, who was raised in Medford, Oregon, have been married for 20 years.  After 21 years as a Fireman with the FDNY (Fire Department, City of New York) Owen and Erika moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2017 where Owen continued his fire career with the Eugene-Springfield Fire Department.  Owen is a 1994 Graduate of Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, NY and Erika is a 1992 Graduate of Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA.  Owen has served the public in two cities for over 23 years and Erika has worked and volunteered for non-profits in New York and Oregon.
